ON APRIL 4, THE OPENING OF ONE-MAN EXHIBITION OF MARGARITA SIOURINA ‘METAMORPHOSES OF STYLE’, LEONARDO’S SCRIPT PROJECT, WAS HELD IN THE HOUSE OF THE RUSSIAN ABROAD NAMED AFTER ALEXANDER SOLZHENITSYN.
Margarita Siourina is truly grateful to the managing team of the House of the Russian Abroad named after Alexander Solzhenitsyn for giving a chance to arrange a personal exhibition in the hall of the House of the Russian Abroad in Moscow.
The artist presented over 40 graphic sheets half of which have been exhibited for the first time, and a number of paintings.
All those gathered at the Opening noted an apt display clearly showing the concept: commencement – culmination – the end.
Many good words have been said, several curious attitudes and opinions have been expressed relating the exhibited cycle of graphic works.
Perhaps being initially set in their reflectivity, the exhibited works literally «mirrored» internal state of the spectators, while each visitor was watching in his or her own way…
