8 PORTRAITS OF THE POET NIKOLAY ZHUKOV AT THE ART STUDIO OF THE ARTIST MARGARITA SIOURINA
Master class «WE DRAW A PORTRAIT OF THE POET NIKOLAY ZHUKOV» took place at the art studio of the artist Margarita Siourina on Vavilov Street, 65A on March 26, 2017.
Moscow modern poet Nikolay Zhukov posed at the master class.
Nikolay Zhukov – poet, member of the Russian Union of Writers since 2014.
The mathematician by education, he many years worked as the programmer.
Writes verses since youth. Author of the book of verses of "Joy Antenna" (2016, Moscow City Organization of the Russian Union of Writers). The nominee of the national literary award "Poet of the Year" from 2011 to 2016.
The nominee of the national literary award "Writer of the Year" from 2015 to 2017.
Nikolay Zhukov is nominated also for a competition of awards: "Heritage of 2016" (nomination "Verses") and "Heritage of 2017" (nomination "Verses").
Author of verses of 35 songs. His works are printed in 13 almanacs: in 12 of them – the poetry and songs, in one almanac prose is published. The participant of the well-known Voloshinsky festival (Koktebel) and «Bright People» festival (Moscow) in 2016.

Artists of Moscow, their pupils, poets of DOOS participated in the master class.
Drew in a free graphic technique: sauce, pencil, water color, pastel. The program of master classes is provide for a wide range of participants – both artists and poets. Among the drawing participants there are both the famous taken place professional artists and beginners standing on the very first steps of knowledge of life through art. Among the posing poets there are both widely famous masters and the talented self-educated persons who have come to literature from other spheres. Such strategy allows professionals to perfect their skills and not to become isolated on a narrow elite circle of contacts, and beginners get invaluable experience of training and work in a circle of the bright taken place personalities – both artists and poets. The cultural and educational task is an integral part of the art project «PORTRAIT OF THE RUSSIAN FINE WORD» from the first exhibition in August, 2014. In the program of drawing master classes 2016-2017 this task is solved by new and unique methods – through symbiosis of one-stage perception by each participant of verbal and visual forms and meanings.
Creative meetings with drawing master classes on Vavilov Street 65-A in the studio of the project manager, artist Margarita Siourina, take place on Sundays several times a month. The best portraits of poets contemporaries created on drawing sessions participate further at group exhibitions of the art project «PORTRAIT OF THE RUSSIAN FINE WORD».
The nearest master class «DRAW A PORTRAIT OF A POET» will take place on April 9, 2017.

poet Zinoviy Antonov (Moscow, creative nickname – Zinoviy Antov), and a famous poet, prose writer and literary critic Kira Sapgir (Paris)
