In June 2011, Margarita Siourina had a creative trip to Saint Petersburg.
Here, the artist would like to present her newest PHOTO-IMPRESSIONS from NORTHERN CAPITAL Series
Spread of the Neva, love and solitude …
…Synthesis of Arts form different epochs, impressing in its beauty and harmony – Henry Moor in the Hermitage Museum…
… highly artistic graffiti in the yards of St. Pete…
…the very yards with their fantastic revelations …
…to keep on with the subject – a trip to the LOFT PROJECT ETAGI ("Floors"), opening of surrealism exhibition «COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS»…
… higher, higher, and higher – here she is on the roof…
… and HEAVEN gets reflected in the windows …
… not only HEAVEN! But it is not everywhere that one can pass or float by…
… meanwhile the city lives its own life: in many places one can run, jump, drive, float, ride a bicycle and even gallop!
It is the Neva again, and people, people everywhere…
…PEOPLE AND SPHINGES…
By the way, exhibition of sculpture and graphics of Salvador Dalí from Alexander Shadrin’s collection, which took place in Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts, in Rafael Hall, was really impressive; to out mind, the godsend of the exposition was a WOMAN AFIRE by Salvador Dalí (1980), a sculpture in bronze, 84 cm, positioned right AT THE FEET of the giant antique DIOSCOURIOUS, that practically touches the high vaults of the hall with its head …
Here we come to the absolute surrealism…
Paintings and graphics form Northern Capital Series by Margarita Siourina will be exhibited at the artist’s expositions.
