Having just finished an exhibition in Marina Tsvetaeva's memorial museum, the art project "Portrait of the Russian Fine Word" already prepares for the opening of a new – the tenth anniversary exhibition of the project devoted to a considerable and anniversary date – the 250th-anniversary since the birth (on December 12) of the outstanding Russian writer, the historian and humanist Nikolay Mikhaylovich Karamzin.
The portrait gallery of outstanding domestic creators, scientists and poets, statesmen and national rebels will be presented at the exhibition «History of the Russian State in Persons» of the art project «Portrait of the Russian Fine Word» in the museum «Preodoleniye». From pictorial works and Igor Hamrayev's medals «Tale of Igor's Campaign», bronze medals and sculptures from a historical cycle of the sculptor Vladimir Chibisov to a large-scale canvas «Silence» of the artist Sergey Afonsky devoted to death of the family of the last Sovereign-emperor Nicholas II. From Nikolay Karamzin's portraits of the artist Raisa Arefyeva to Nikolay Gogol, Sergey Dyagilev and Karl Fabergé's portraits performed by the artist Pavel Borisov. From the first printer Ivan Fedorov and the first Russian academician Mikhail Lomonosov in works of the artist Leonid Kozlov and works of the honored artist of the Russian Federation, the sculptor Ivan Korzhev «Yemelyan Pugachyov» and «Evpaty Kolovrat» - to the most modern faces and the faces of national history and culture imprinted by artists of the project «Portrait of the Russian Fine Word» on a canvas and paper in marble and bronze.
At each exhibition of the project by all means there is also a gallery of Sacred Orthodox Faces and the faces of the Russian Christianity - in the season of 2016 at the exhibition «History of the Russian State in Persons» in the museum centre «Preodoleniye» the viewer will see the works devoted: to Nikita Pereslavsky and Kseniya Peterburzhskaya of the artist Viktoriya Afonskaya, to the Patriarch Germogen in a cycle of water colors «Time of Troubles» of the honored artist of Russia Valery Ryabovol; reasonable on mahogany unique wall Images of the honored artist of Russia Nikolay Chibisov, Lyudmila Chibisova's iconography, portraits of Tikhon Shevkunov and the Archpriest Nikolay Guryanov of the artist Raisa Arefyeva, original painting of the artist Margarita Yurkova from «A Bible Cycle», including the triptych «Christmas» and a diptych «Adoration of the Magi».
The artist Margarita Siourina will show at the exhibition graphics and a new picturesque canvas «St. Basil's Cathedral» according to Andrey Voznesensky's poem «Master» - the first works from a new cycle of picturesque and graphic associations on the most famous poem of the outstanding Russian poet. The artist Yury Zemlyanukhin will present penetrating illustrations to Leonid Engibarov's short stories and to Bulat Okudzhava's story of «Freedom Throats», the artist Tatyana Gorelova will show picturesque lyrical landscapes of the Russian land, and from the creative heritage of the National artist of Russia Gennady Sevostyanov a sketch work «Severnaya Palmira» («St. Petersburg») devoted to Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin will be presented.
Poets of literary association DOOS also take part in an exposition of the exhibition "History of the Russian State in Persons": graphics and monotypy of the famous poet and philosopher of the present Konstantin Aleksandrovich Kedrov-Chelishchev, computer graphics of the poet Elena Katsyuba, art objects of the artist-jeweler Anvar Almukhametov and performance artist Margarita Al, devoted to the memory of the poet Willie Melnikov will be shown.
For the first time the following artists will participate in the exhibitions "History of the Russian State in Persons" of the art project «Portrait of the Russian Fine Word»: Valery Sopp with masterful etchings portraits of classics and modern writers, Anna Lyashenko with refined and delicate illustrations to A. L Malyshkin's and Yu. L. Slyozkin's stories. The artist Alexey Barvenko will present the triptych "Still Lifes with Icons", the artist Elena Krasnoshchekova will show at the exhibition landscapes of the Russian monasteries and a pictorial work "Stranger", and the President of Academy of the Russian Fine Word, the poet Yury Belyaev will not only traditionally open the exhibition, but also will present two picturesque works associations devoted to Alexander Blok.
Traditionally poets of the literary association DOOS: Konstantin Kedrov, Elena Katsyuba, Margarita Al, Alexander Karpenko will take part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition «The Portrait of the Russian Fine Word. Poets of literary association named after Dmitry Kedrin, led by the poet Yury Petrunin, will participate for the first time in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The poet Anton Belyaev will read verses from a cycle on the Russian history. The following representatives will take part in the opening ceremony: the academician of the International Academy of Informatization in general consultative status of the UN, the poet Mikhail Friedman; academician of the International Kirillo-Mefodiyev Academy of Slavic education, writer Anatoly Apostolov; many other poets and writers of modern Russia.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition "History of the Russian State in Persons" a new joint project of the All-Russian literary festival of the LIFFT festivals and the annual art project "Portrait of the Russian Fine Word" will be announced. It is a creation of a man-made "MOSCOW BOOK" (from the series "Book of a Poet and Artist") - a unique art object where each page is born in coauthorship of an artist and a poet. Poets and artists, such as Margarita Al, Anvar Almukhametov and Margarita Siourina will tell about the project.
From December 7, 2016 till January 15, 2017 master-classes of artists and poetic evenings of literary associations of modern Russia will take place in the museum-centre «Preodoleniye» named after N.A. Ostrovsky during the exhibition «History of the Russian State in Persons» of the annual project «Portrait of the Russian Fine Word».
